About Jorge
Jorge Titinger is the Founder and CEO of Titinger Consulting, a boutique consulting firm focused on strategy development, the cultural aspects of M&A, corporate transformations, leadership coaching, and executive advisory services for boards and CEOs in corporate governance, AI strategy, organizational culture, and human capital. He is also the award-winning co-author of the books Differences that Make a Difference, The Real ROI: Return On Inclusion and Cracking the Rich Code – Volume 19. His new book, The Beautiful Game of Leadership: Lessons from the Soccer Field to the Boardroom will be release soon.
Mr. Titinger has over 30 years of experience in the high-tech industry and has held numerous executive and board positions in the semiconductor equipment and computer industries. He is a sought-after public speaker and trusted executive advisor; his clients range from multi-billion-dollar companies to start-ups. He is very involved in the start-up community both in the U.S. and Peru; he is a mentor with Endeavor and an LP in several venture funds.
Mr. Titinger served as President, CEO, and Director of Silicon Graphics (SGI) and Verigy Inc. Both companies were successfully turned around and sold, delivering outstanding results for shareholders and other stakeholders. Jorge also held executive positions at FormFactor, KLA-Tencor, Applied Materials, Inc., and Hewlett-Packard.
Jorge is an LXCouncil Certified License Partner and moderates a CEO Peer Group, where he facilitates confidential peer advisory sessions that help chief executives maximize their leadership effectiveness through the collective experience of fellow CEOs.
Jorge currently serves as Board Chair and Independent Director for public and private companies and advises boards, CEOs, and executive leadership teams on corporate governance, AI strategy, executive leadership, organizational effectiveness, and human capital. He is an NACD Directorship Certified® (NACD.DC®) director, reflecting his commitment to the highest standards of board leadership and governance.
Most recently, he was selected as one of the Top 10 Best of the Boardroom by Hispanic Executive magazine. He is also a two-time NACD Directorship 100 Honoree, recognized for exemplary leadership and contributions to corporate governance. He has served and continues to serve on multiple public, private, and nonprofit boards, including the public company boards of Axcelis Technologies, CalAmp Corporation, Ichor Holdings, and FormFactor, Inc. Mr. Titinger also served as a director of Xcerra Corporation from October 2012 until its acquisition by Cohu, Inc. in 2018, where he continued to serve as a director until May 2021. He also serves on the boards of the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley, Stanford Medicine Children’s Health, the Silicon Valley Education Foundation, Innovate Public Schools, and Panasas.
He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering, and an M.S. in Engineering Management and Business, all from Stanford University. Mr. Titinger was an accomplished athlete in his youth, serving as captain of the Stanford varsity soccer team and captain of the U.S. National Indoor Soccer Team from 1988 to 1993. He is passionate about education, leadership development, and expanding opportunities for the Latino community in the United States.
